Aims:

This session will enable participants to:

  • explore established approaches and guidance on how staff can cultivate teaching contexts and settings that are conducive for student learning;
  • consider strategies that can be employed to promote productive and positive student behaviours and collaborative working in learning and teaching settings;
  • identify particular practice that is appropriate for addressing student behaviour, which is disrespectful or challenging.
