Aims:
This workshop will enable participants to:
- gain ideas and skills for a ‘menu’ of practical learning and teaching activities, techniques and strategies adaptable to their own practice;
- develop their ability to provide effective learning experiences for students;
- explore how they can draw on own past experience as a learner and/or teacher to provide effective learning opportunities for students, and begin to relate this to the scholarship of learning and teaching in higher education;
- work with others as they engage practically in carrying out specific teaching activities, and receive feedback and encouragement on their own teaching practice.
