Staff need(s) the workshop will address
I want to gain professional recognition for teaching and supporting learning in higher education.
I would like to gain Fellowship of the HEA – what is the process for this at UoN?
I have had a look at the Professional Standards Framework (PSF), but can’t easily see how it relates to my work.
I would like to enhance my practice in teaching and supporting learning, but I’m not sure what development opportunities are available or which would be suitable for me.
Who would benefit from this workshop:
All staff involved in teaching and supporting learning. The workshop will help your thinking and preparation for Associate Fellow, Fellow or Senior Fellow of the HEA.
How the Workshop will contribute to Learning Practice
Through this workshop you will:
- find out about the institutional Fellowship Scheme, aligned to the Professional Standards Framework (PSF);
- reflect on and review your experience and practice related to teaching and supporting learning;
- begin to create a Professional Development Plan, with fellowship goals;
- explore the assessment tasks to be completed for an application for Associate Fellow, Fellow or Senior Fellow of the HEA;
- identify academic development opportunities available at UoN.
