Leadership was distributed among the partners to reflect the academic, professional and project management experience of each and to ensure complementarity of skills. Additional support was provided by the remaining partners where appropriate to their expertise.
The 6 workstreams (WS) are each led by an experienced partner, supported by a second partner as co-lead with clear tasks and responsibilities identified for the whole team:

WORKSTREAM 1: PROJECT MANAGEMENT
UoN and UoH led on the management of the project to ensure that all reporting and administrative systems are in place for the start of the project and the project meets its agreed objectives and outputs. Other activities include, quality assurance, ensuring stakeholder engagement, ethical review, risk management and the project finances.
WORKSTREAM 2: CO- PRODUCED NEEDS ANALYSIS
UoN and UoH and VIA have conducted an initial scoping and needs analysis which includes a country-specific and EU-wide analysis of the policy and research on children’s online use. This includes exploratory
discussion with country schools (UK and GREECE) to start to identify the challenges experienced by children and the everyday practices they use to stay safe online.
WORKSTREAMS 3 & 4: PARTICIPATORY PROGRAMME DESIGN and PROGRAMME DELIVERY
Prior to project initiation, partners UoN and UoH , UCLL & VIA were in contact with named schools in each of the partner countries in order to secure their participation in the project. Immediately after project initiation, partners, together with their local school partner, planned the details of each school’s involvement in the co-production and co-design of the digital education programme and programme evaluation. (NB For 2ES, this activity will take place within their school).
WORKSTREAM 5: PROGRAMME EVALUATION
Partners UoN and UoH and VIA have designed an evaluation framework which has been developed to compliment the activities within the programme design and delivery.
WORKSTREAM 6: DISSEMINATION AND SUSTAINABILITY
2ES & UoN and UoH have prepared an dissemination strategy to ensure the work undertaken in the project is valued by the stakeholders identified in the application.
