BLT Day Live

This week, the School of Education was delighted to host a BLT day, one of a series of innovative workshops for the Northants Better Learning using Technologies network, which facilitates a ‘grassroots’ culture among educators who meet to share practical experiences of using technologies to make learning better. Over 40 teachers from across the county took part in workshops led by Ewan McIntosh and Peter Ford from the creativity and learning consultancy NoTosh, on ‘Visible Learning and Visual Learning: Using digital media to capture, discuss and improve learning.’ We explored themes such as how to get children to take ownership of problems and how best to capture their ‘messy thinking’. The day culminated in a powerful stand-up session of ideas-sharing around strategies for using ICT to redefine and transform learning.
