About

Hi! I’m Helen Caldwell.

I currently spend most of my week as an initial teacher trainer at Northampton University. Another part is spent as a teacher advisor on assistive technology for Milton Keynes, and yet another part of it is spent looking after the SEN portal for the Vital website.

For many years, I taught ICT to 5-16 year olds and to students with specific learning difficulties, and I guess, at the bottom of it, I am just someone who is passionate about using technology to support children’s learning in meaningful and exciting ways.  I particularly love finding amazing, free tools that teachers can use to engage and challenge children of all abilities.

I want to share ideas about technology in the classroom with you, so please visit regularly, bring your thoughts and comments, and join in!
