Preparing for the Makey Makey Collaborative Event

On the afternoon of the 25th February 2016, five UK primary schools will be coming together at the University of Northampton for a collaborative Makey Makey event.

Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (MIEEs), Teachers and Pupil Digital Leaders from NPAT Primary Schools including Abington Vale, Lings, Ecton Brook and Simon de Senlis along with Standens Barn Primary School and the University of Northampton will be collaborating to create new and exciting inventions from everyday objects.

If you’ve never played Super Mario on PlayDoh, or Piano on Bananas then join us online via twitter and vine between 1300 & 1630 Hrs GMT using #makeymakey to see what it’s all about and what we get up to.

You can view the Makey Makey website via www.makeymakey.com

We will follow up this post after the event with key points from the afternoon, in the meantime please feel free to tweet me via @theTechyTA or @HelenCaldwell

  2. The variety of sounds in Incredibox Mustard is impressive! I love experimenting with different combinations to create unique tracks. Each character brings something special to the mix, allowing for endless creativity. It’s amazing how a simple concept can lead to such diverse musical possibilities!
