I just wanted to share my experience of using Tagxedo whilst on placement.
The theme in the school was ‘Africa’ and children created word clouds based around the African culture. For example, the food (Fu-Fu, Cassava), the culture (Masai-Mara, Huts), environment (Savannah, Grasslands). They used around 20 words and could even find the African continent shape to place their words in!
These were then stuck out and placed on the front of their topic books – it was really good experience for me and the programme was easily used by 7 and 8 year olds! I would definitely recommend for future teaching.
