Subject: Weather
Age group: Key Stage 1
Title: Sock Puppets
Idea: To introduce children to the topic of weather. It allows children opportunity to think about the weather in their immediate and extended environment and ask questions. Sock Puppets were used for the Weather topic to promote Geography. Children can create their own weather forecasts around the world, which could be used with a green screen to ‘transport’ them to exotic places.
