This a programming puzzle game teaching a robot how to move crates. Students will need to create algorithms to complete the request of the robot. By dragging arrows into the correct box creating a program. Students will need to detect and correct errors in their algorithms in order to complete.
There are 5 different levels ranging from Easy to Impossible to challenge all!
This iPad app is suitable for Key Stage 2 children. It is a good introduction into programming and debugging. They layout of the app allows children to clearly see their input and then the outcome of their algorithms.
I really enjoyed watching your video and finding out about this resource – I have never heard of CargoBots before! It incorporates both debugging and programming which I really like!
Fantastic programme Amanda, Josh and Emma. I like the fact that this activity as you described during the lesson can be differentiated to make easier or harder. It also allows children to practice skills though instructions!
