What is it?
The game I have made is a driving game, in which a car needs to be steered around a racing track to reach the finish line. The time taken to complete the course is recorded and shown as the car crosses the finish line. The user must use the arrows on the keyboard to move the car. if the car touches the green grass, the user is out and the game starts again.
Who is it for?
The game can be used by both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children because it is simple.
Are there any educational links?
The game has no obvious cross-curricular links, however, it can be used to improve the motor skills of children so that they are able to make small and calculated movements with their hands on computer keyboards.
