Literacy- Elves complaint letter
Children love Christmas and so here is an absolutely brilliant set of literacy plans that embrace the Christmas spirit whilst children learn more about letter writing and diplomacy.
These were given to me last year and were planned for Year 5, however they can be altered for pretty much any KS2 class.
The idea is that the Elves have written a letter to Santa complaining about their working conditions. Santa is appalled by this letter and it is your job to write a letter on behalf of Santa that is calm but expresses Santa’s wishes.
