Sylvie is an Academic Practice Tutor in the Centre for Achievement and Performance at the University of Northampton. She recently completed the University of Sheffield Education Doctorate in higher education with a thesis on UK policy on international students. She is an HEA Fellow with 6 years of teaching experience with international students in UK higher education. She is has published on national branding of UK higher education and policy analysis, and is currently researching the use of blended learning in higher education. A book is forthcoming from Palgrave MacMillan entitled Recruiting international students in higher education: Rationales and representations in British policy.
