This month pupils, students, teachers and academics in Belgium, Norway and Spain worked together on an international day to get to know each other.

In Spain pupils and teachers used Animal Strength Cards to make introductions to themselves. They used fables as a starting point and practised their English in their answers to questions. Student teachers led the activities using video conferencing since they could not visit the schools in person. This led them to reflect on how technology might help them overcome personal barriers.
In the afternoon the children video conferenced with a class of pupils in Belgium where they discussed the Animal Strength Cards and talked in a range of languages.
