This web link allows you to choose 5 random images which you are then challenged to create a short story from these images.
This is a good resource because it can be linked to topics or used randomly as a stimulus for creative writing.
It also can be used as a starter or plenary within a session as well as a guided writing session. It can also be completed as a whole class activity or in small groups.
Teachers can choose the images if providing a focused task, or the children can choose their own images and challenge themselves.
