In this lesson my class was looking at how to use Scratch with KS2 children. We specifically looked at ‘crystal flowers’ and ‘nested loops’. These are created through algorithms, which instruct pens to move in chosen directions to make artistic shapes. This is then repeated again and again to make the artistic pattern!
Using Scratch to create art.
I created the script once, and chose the pen to be purple, I then copied this script and repeated it on the end but then changed the colour of the pen to green, which I then repeated then back to purple.
