This is a story created to analyse the reader’s ability to recognise the similarities and differences between characters. It also promotes the development of phonemic awareness to support an early reader.
As it is a simple text the pattern of structure and syntax can be used as a stimulus for writing with older pupils, helping support their writing ability across a range of contexts.
