This simple animation could be used as a model for a science cross curricular lesson and an introduction to programming, mainly aimed for lower KS2. The children could be looking at habitats, each researching their own animal and then creating the animals environment and putting the animal inside. The animation can show pupils how to add animation to the sprite, change the background and add sound. this could be aimed for higher level pupils as well as they could be tasked to turn it into a game where the animal has to eat food that falls down the screen. this kind of enquiry would be better suited for upper KS2.
