We explored Makey Makey with Scratch Piano as a teaching resource, for Key Stage 1, and we discovered that it would cover some cross curricular areas in both music and science. Specifically however in computing, the area of algorithms.
This section of Makey Makey, although can be seen as quite basic the development of this can help to progress skills in the area of algorithms. This can be done through the use of simple instructions to put the equipment together and then use it. This device can also be used to accommodate different skill level students through the use of more complex activities and instructions.
