Dr Kimberley Hill has been working with lecturer, Declan Ryan, Northamptonshire Sport, Northampton Walks and Delapre Abbey on a research project designed to increase recreational walking activity.
This research has led to a new 3km route around Delapre park and wayfinding signage based on research findings being opened at a popular launch event recently. The researchers aim to continue tracking walking behaviour around the route to evidence if it has increased activity levels. Stay tuned for future updates.
