International day 1 – Year 7 Norway
We had a fantastic first international day here in Norway. The students from University College in Østfold were here two days earlier preparing the students with a presentation on food waste and climate challenges. We had also participated in the international food waste day here in Norway.
We had two tasks for the students this day. One group would build their vertical gardens whilst the other group made a presentation on the climate challenge food waste. When both groups were done with their vertical gardens, we went outside to do the planting. The students were excited and eager about the tasks, and in the end, they felt they had learned a lot in a really fun way.
We also had a really fun video chat with the English pupils. Both the Norwegian and English pupils had prepared some facts about their class and school that they presented, and they had lots of questions for each other.
