Julius Azasoo received his BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana in 2008 and continued to finish his Master of Philosophy in Computer Engineering in 2012. He worked as a Transmission Engineer at Huawei Technologies and Data Network Engineer with Vodafone Ghana. Prior to his Research Studentship at The University of Northampton, he was a Faculty Member at School of Technology at GIMPA, where he teaches Electronics, Embedded Systems, Numerical Methods and Computer Networking. He loves teaching and using his research to solve practical issues in the society. Julius has been at the forefront of creativity right from his college days and has received several national awards for invention and creativity. His research areas are embedded systems, Wirelese Sensor Networks, Software Define Radios, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence with a special focus on smart grid and related optimization techniques.
