After 5 successful years, our Centre for Psychology & Social Sciences (CPSS) would like to say a big thank you to Prof Chris Roe who has decided to step down from the role of Centre Lead. Chris is engaged in a number of exciting research projects from which we will no doubt hear about new achievements soon. The role of CPSS lead was given to Prof Federico Farini who is looking forward to working with the excellent Special Interest Group leads Kimberley Hill, Josephine Chen-Wilson, Liz Gulliford, Callum Cooper, Eva Prokopiou and Charlotte Dann, and with us all to build on such strong foundations. Federico is a sociologist which makes him very motivated to develop inter-disciplinary collaborations between Psychology and Sociology, the H2020 Child-UP project being the first example of that, with Eva Prokopiou also making very valuable contributions to the project.
