Important news – help us find out how your role in school relates to your HLTA status

The HLTA National Assessment Partnership (HNAP) is calling upon HLTAs in every region of the country to contribute to a short survey that focusses on whole class teaching (Standard 31), area of expertise (Standard 10) and general Continuing Professional Development (Standard 7). Outcomes will be shared on the HNAP website in the spring term 2019 and will be used to support our HNAP presentation at an ‘Inside Government’ event in January.

The 20 questions, mostly multiple choice, should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. Every contribution is important to us in being able to represent the voice of the profession. When completing the survey, please do not view the questions as a test; we are looking for honest answers, provided anonymously to gather a regional and national picture of what is happening in schools. No individual contribution will be viewed by anyone outside of the HNAP team; we do not ask for names of HLTAs or names of schools.

To take part in the survey, please click here and complete by December 17th.

We would really appreciate your support so that we can understand how HLTA roles within the East Midlands compare to the rest of England; we will also be considering the formulation of advice and development points that we can share with senior leaders in schools to support HLTAs.

Thank you very much for your time.
