As your term rapidly comes to an end and you see pupils move on to new classes, new schools and new teachers, maybe new HLTAs and TAs, take a minute to consider the journey you have all been on over the last year.
You may be tired and, for now, have seen enough tick sheets, reports and books, but do remember the fun times, the good times, the challenging times and, especially, that amazing moment when a pupil suddenly ‘gets it’ and the shared joy at their new found knowledge or skill. Reflect on the part you have played in their development and the pride you all feel as each individual takes their next step to make their way in the world.
