Celebrate National Teaching Assistant Day and nominate a TA from your school

National Teaching Assistants’ Day was created by Teaching Personnel, a UK education recruitment agency,  to recognise the valuable contribution teaching assistants make to the education and support of school children across the UK.

National Teaching Assistants’ Day is the opportunity for  schools across the UK to join in and recognise the amazing work their TAs do.

September 14th 2018 is the date to share with colleagues and the leadership team l so that your school can be prepared once the Autumn term starts.

Teaching Personnel are also holding a  Teaching Assistant of the Year competition. This year there will be a TA of the Year winner for primary schools, secondary schools and special schools with the winner announced on 14th September.

The winners of the Teaching Assistant of the Year competition will receive a tablet computer, a £100 voucher for lesson materials, a Teaching Assistant of the Year plaque.

The nomination portal is already open – why not nominate a colleague or share this information with your head teacher – there are some outstanding TAs and HLTAs in the East Midlands – now is the time to be recognised!

You can also download some resources to help celebrate the day – make certificates, school banners and more.
