BELGIUM DAY 2
The most important activities of this day:
- Uploading on Thinglink of the routes we have walked on Day 1 while gathering the trash and uploading the pictures of the trash we collected during our walk. At the end of Day 3 we will upload the pictures of the artworks we made with this trash. These artworks will be placed at the exact location where the trash was found.
- In the afternoon we started with an international meeting with our friends from Spain and Denmark. It wasn’t always easy due to online connection difficulties, but it was very nice to talk with them about the project and about other things, e.g. school, hobbies, music…
- Making the piece of art: the pupils came up with some wonderful ideas. They used the trash that they found on the first day to make some real art, for example one group made a fashion show with barbie dolls. They made a catwalk and some dresses for the barbies. Another group made a football player with a tennis ball, soda cans and some cardboard. You got a third group with a majestic castle and a fourth group with a ship that Captain Jack Sparrow would be proud off!
To end the day, we took some photos using the “green screen” where everything came to life. It was a successful day!
