Belgium International Day 2

DLAB Day 2 – Recipe books

We started our second day of DLAB by learning why we should be aware of the need to take care of the environment and how we can do small things to live more environmentally consciously. Then, together with the students, we made recipe books where we can use food that quickly goes bad.

Introducing the day’s activities

In the afternoon, we went to Kopje Zwam where we saw circular urban agriculture and, after receiving all the information, we also made a pizza together where we could eat oyster mushrooms.

Once back at school, we called the other countries to see what recipes they had made and how their day went. These calls are always great fun for the pupils because they get to meet their peers from other countries. They also have to speak English, so it is definitely good training for them.
