Welcome to the new RIFS website!
We decided it was time to freshen up our online presence as well as our name. We’ve taken the content that was previously located on our NILE site and put together this page, which we hope you’ll find easy to use and informative. Although we’ve worked hard on this new venture, there may well be the odd typo or broken link lurking somewhere. If you spot anything awry then please email us or comment here and we’ll fix things.
Our next job is to look at the kind of digital resources we offer, both updating the ones we already have and creating new ones based on what people need. If you have any suggestions or requests then please get in touch.
You may remember that when we were at Park Campus we had regular coffee morning-style drop ins, but now we’re at Waterside we’ll be doing things a bit differently. Armed with our new RIFS banner, we’ll be popping up all over campus to answer your questions, discuss ideas and give advice. First up is a breakfast session on Wednesday 31st October between 8am and 10am, held outside our office in Senate building – we’ll be setting up camp on the grey sofas.
There’s no need to let us know in advance if you’re planning to stop in, but if you have something specific you’d like to discuss then drop us an email and we can be ready and waiting for you.
