Find out about the ‘Ten Pieces Coaching Scheme 2019-20’
The BBC Orchestras and Choirs and the Ulster Orchestra are offering free coaching from their professional musicians for 7-18 year olds across the UK. The coaching scheme offers a chance for young people to explore the Ten Pieces, develop their musical experience and improve their performance skills by working with professional musicians.
Applications are now open for coaching visits to take place in the academic year 2019-20; the closing date is Friday 15th February 2019.
The scheme is inviting expressions of interest from schools and organisations in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland including Ten Pieces Champions, Music Hubs, Music Services, NI Education Authorities, or any other organisation working with young musicians. They encourage applications from all schools including special schools.
Through the scheme there are 5 different options offered:
- Instrumental Coaching
- Instrumental Creative Workshops
- Build a vocal performance in a day
- Vocal Coaching
- Bespoke Workshop
