A new report published today by SchoolDash hopes to shed some light on the impact of immigration from European countries on England’s schools says Schools Week in a summary of the report.
This reports shares data in the form of analysis, charts and graphs on regional impact, both in growth and reduction of European immigration, and attainment with some thought provoking findings, especially when considering views and opinions from ‘Votein’ and ‘Brexit’ camps. Academic research and comment is also included to support analysis of comparative data.
Dr Timo Hannay, SchoolDash founder said: “The effects of EU immigration in terms of both numbers and their effects on academic attainment therefore appear very local, with most areas largely unaffected, a few areas heavily affected and London positively thriving, at least in terms of academic outcomes.”
