International collaboration
On both international days the pupils in NIA had the opportunity to meet and talk to the pupils in Denmark. The school in Denmark provided us with images and videos of their school to share with the pupils in NIA. They all seemed to enjoy looking at what the schools in Denmark looked like and were able to compare and contrast these to their own school. One of the major differences is that the schools in Denmark do not wear uniform. The pupils form Denmark also sent us videos of them making ice-breakers this provided them with the opportunity to learn some Danish words, this is something which all of the pupils took part in and repeated back some of the words from the videos.
The pupils from NIA enjoyed having the opportunity to talk with the pupils in Denmark discussing what they had done during the international day as well as discussing their likes and dislikes to get to know each other. By having the opportunity to work collaboratively and speak with the pupils from Denmark, it allows the pupils from NIA to understand different cultures and backgrounds.
