At the University of Northampton, all students will complete a 70-day and 100-day placement in high quality environments that offer a wide range of learning opportunities that enable them to meet the learning outcomes of that practice placement, learning alongside other professionals.
The placement organisations are audited in line with quality assurance in practice learning (QAPL) which refers to SWE standards of education and training (SETs) and guidance relating to practice placements. This will be reviewed every two years.
