Physiotherapy Programme Information

The MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration) degree at the University of Northampton is accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and offers a unique and contemporary approach to physiotherapy education.

The Master’s programme is designed to develop physiotherapists with critical thinking capabilities, practical problem-solving skills, and an evidence-based approach to practice. The programme employs a unique teaching approach of active blended learning, which fosters a community of enquiry, collaboration, and development of practical problem-solving skills with an emphasis on person-centered care.

EDUCATOR TRAINING & RESOURCES FOR SUPPORTING STUDENTS
As part of our quality assurance processes to promote educational excellence in practice, it is a minimum requirement for all educators supporting students on placement to complete the New UON Educator Training and then attend update training every two years** to maintain your Practice Educator status with us.
