Nursing is my second career, I previously worked as a graphic designer in advertising. I registered as a nurse in 1996 and initially worked on a medical ward, then specialised in respiratory nursing before moving into palliative care as a clinical nurse specialist (Macmillan nurse). Educationally I was taught old-school (on the wards) which meant I didn’t have even a diploma when I qualified. I did ENB 931, then a Nursing diploma, BA in nursing, non-medical prescribing, MSC Practice education and recently Doctorate. Interspersed with teaching qualifications.

About the programme

Facilitation, Assessment and Quality Assurance in Work-based Learning ( NURM085) and Quality Enhancement in Interprofessional Work-based Learning (NURM086). Both are 60 credits each and can be taken in any order. Both modules are designed to be 300 study hours each.  Both modules are required for the award.
