Going into the third game of the season, the Bears begin a run of four consecutive home games with a battle against Warwick University’s third team this Wednesday 1st November.
Following a so-far perfect start to the season, Ben Mcdonagh, primarily a 12, is feeling confident ahead of the match.
Expected to start as a 15, he knows the squad are good enough to win.
“We’ve played them before and there is a history there.
“We know what we are doing and what we are capable of.
“It should be a physical game but we know what we can do.”
Following two wins from two at the beginning of this season, he knows how important it is to keep the victories coming.
“We have got to keep our momentum and that would be huge.
“If we keep that, the morale will stay high.
“Everyone will keep training hard and we will keep moving through it.”
With every game in November being at home, Mcdonagh is relishing the next four matches.
“It’s amazing.
“Home games; we love them, we love our fans and when they come down and support.
“The atmosphere helps so much.”
With a high number of players turning up for training this year, preparation has been key for the Bears’ hopeful promotion push.
“We’re still trying to figure out where we play best on the pitch.
“We’ve been working on getting spread out and finding space.”
The Bears kick-off at lunchtime this Wednesday.
