UON Bears will want to follow up last week’s season-opening 45-5 win against Staffordshire at home to Harper Adams 3’s tomorrow.
The Bears were dominant last week as shown by the score line with Joe Osivwemu scoring a staggering five tries.
Osivwemu believes that the team focuses not on individual achievements but on staying focused and winning games.
The Bears will have their first home league game tomorrow welcoming Harper Adams 3’s, who also picked up an opening-day win.
But there is understandably excitement and confidence running throughout the home side squad that they have enough to get their home record off to a positive start.
Osivwemu makes his second start of the season and will hope to add to his quintuple of tries last week as he sits top of the BUCS try-scoring list.
With captain and vice-captain, Taylor Randall and Evan Wyatt also ready to put in another strong performance tomorrow.
There are a number of BUCS debutants in the squad for UON, Tom Owen, Andrew Thomas and James Harriman all ready to make an impact in Bears colours.
It will be a tough game for the Bears but with a repeat of last week’s performance, the home side will be determined to get their second win of the domestic season.
