The Bears will travel to Warwick on Wednesday for their fifth game of the BUCS season.
The two sides faced off on the opening day of November when Northampton took a 61-19 victory.
Centre Jake Salonga feels the team are still confident even with a large number of injuries at the moment:
“I’m really excited, even if we have less numbers for the game we’re still ready mentally and physically, we’re not scared at all.
With injuries comes a change of tactics and players, but Salonga is aware of the need for a strong team performance:
“We know all of our roles so it won’t affect us that much as long as were in 100% and everyone backs each other up.
“It doesn’t really change the dynamic of the team as long as we’ve got each other and the whole team is a unit.”
After a whole month of home games on the 4G pitch, UON will finally be travelling away to an opponent, and Jake is looking forward to it.
“This will be only our second time playing away so it will be exciting but of course we don’t have the support like we have here (at home).
“But we have ourselves as a team to support each other.
“We have so much feel and it never runs out.”
Kick-off is at 1pm.
