In our session we used Lego WeDo to show how software can be developed to be of use. This is something which can be used within lessons. We created a game which could be developed into football.
As a lesson the challenge could be: “You need to use Lego WeDo to create a game of your choice?” This will stimulate and engage both talk and discussion between the children. They will then be able to explore the technology thus improving their coding skills; plus they will further their problem solving skills.
