Whether you’re using Tunitin or Blackboard to receive work submitted by your students, you’ll still need to handle releasing the grades and feedback via the Grade Centre.
Grades and feedback are normally available four academic weeks after submission. Please note that academic weeks do not include weeks outside of term-time, so grades and feedback for assignments submitted shortly before holidays may take up to six or seven calendar weeks to be returned.
Go to the Full Grade Centre to amend settings.
In the assignment column, select the menu arrow and choose edit column information
Choose the Primary Display. Select either UnderGrad Letter or PostGrade Letter depending on your requirements. Submit to save and return to the Grade Centre.
Ensure the column is visible to the students by selecting the ‘Hide from students (on/off)’ option. If a red line is shown in the column header, this is hidden from students. No red line (as above) and the grade will be seen by students.
In addition to the above settings, Turnitin Assignments have an additional step to release feedback to students.
The post date (this is added during the set-up process) needs to have passed for any feedback entered within GradeMark to be visible to students. If it hasn’t and you would like to release the feedback manually.
Go to: Control Panel > Site Tools > TurnitinUK Assignments > [assignment title] > Edit Assignment
Amend the date and time show in the Post Date box. Submit to save.
