The Northampton A-level Psychology (NAP)Teacher’s Group is back this academic year. We are a collaborative initiative between Psychology lecturers at The University of Northampton and local Psychology school teachers. We hold regular meetings, CPD and networking events throughout the year.
NAP events are developed in collaboration with Psychology school teachers to enhance their students’ learning experience. Teachers joining the NAP mailing list will also be informed about other events held at the University throughout the year. Refreshments are provided at all events. We use #NAP and #NAPPERDays on social media like Twitter and Instagram. Please feel free to tag us when you or your students take part in a NAP meeting or event.

What students and teachers think of their NAP experience
…I very much enjoyed the delivery of the topic and the level of knowledge the professor had as she was able to not only discuss current research but future research in the field, including her own upcoming research.
I found cyberpsychology to be very applicable to the A-Level psychology course as we can include its big ideas in topics such as Social Influence, Forensic Psychology and Relationships and I am looking forward to doing this in my upcoming topics. Sogol Z (Jan 2020)
