The Cyberpsychology Workshop led by Dr Lisa Orchard (Hon. Secretary of BPS Cyberpsychology Section, Senior Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton) was a resounding success. Dr Orchard introduced different research applications of Cyberpsychology by a lively Cyberpsychology bingo. The talk was thoroughly enjoyed by all and followed by very interesting questions from the audience.

The NAP members engaged in a further discussion led by Dr Orchard during the workshop. We explored how different areas of cyberpsychology can be embedded in the A-level Psychology currculumn. It was good to hear examples of more novel research designs being used alongside the more common survey approach.
…I very much enjoyed the delivery of the topic and the level of knowledge the professor had as she was able to not only discuss current research but future research in the field, including her own upcoming research.
I found cyberpsychology to be very applicable to the A-Level psychology course as we can include its big ideas in topics such as Social Influence, Forensic Psychology and Relationships and I am looking forward to doing this in my upcoming topics. Sogol Z (NAP Cyberpsychology workshop, Jan, 2020)
