Brenna Farrow is Senior Lecturer in the Department for Special Educational Needs and Inclusion. She teaches across a number of modules on undergraduate and postgraduate courses on SEN and inclusion. Brenna’s doctoral thesis focused on pedagogy for social communication and interaction for children with Autism. She has previously undertaken joint international research projects in Hong Kong, Sweden, Poland and the Czech Republic. Prior to her role at the University of Northampton Brenna worked as a senior research assistant at the University of Education Hong Kong, was an advisor to mainstream stream teachers in an international schools corporation in Hong Kong, a manager for a child development centre in the UK, and a post doctorate research fellow at Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic
Tom Weaver is a Senior Lecturer in Initial Teacher Training at the University of Northampton. His teaching covers aspects of the Early Years curriculum and mathematics. He has worked on the Hong Kong summer camp for three years and visited students and schools in Hong Kong during 2015.
Helen Caldwell is the curriculum lead for Primary Computing in Teacher Education at the University of Northampton. Her teaching covers the use of technology across primary subjects, implementing the computing curriculum and assistive technologies for SEND. She offers CPD for teachers and Initial Teacher Training across these areas. Her PhD research focuses on the transfer of innovative pedagogies in technology education within professional learning communities.
