The government today published a draft plan to improve air quality by reducing nitrogen dioxide levels in the UK.
The options now open for consultation on reducing nitrogen dioxide in towns and cities are designed to reduce the impact of diesel vehicles, and accelerate the move to cleaner transport.

4. The Group’s 2017 conference
The Group’s 2017 conference will be held on Thursday October 5, at the Northampton Town’s football ground in Sixfields, Northampton. The event will focus on the sustainable management of food waste from the healthcare and hospitality sectors. 5. Need training to manage a waste site?
Operators are required to ensure they have appropriate technically competent managers on site in accordance with an ‘approved scheme’. The EPOC course will enable you to gain an Environmental Permitting Operators Certificate. This proves that you are technically competent and know how to comply with your waste facilities’ environmental permit and waste regulations.
