2. Workshop on circular economy and sustainable procurement models

The Group will be hosting an interactive half-day workshop on the utilisation of circular economy and sustainable procurement models on Wednesday 10 April 2019. It will outline case studies of strategies to save monies and other resources. The event will be held at Heatherwood Hospital.

3. Towards population health systems: what next?

The move toward place-based population health has been reinforced by commitments set out in the NHS long-term plan, but how should health systems respond? This event aims to support local health systems in planning how they will deliver the outcomes set out in the long-term plan and prepare for the national implementation programme in the autumn.

4. Interserve agrees rescue plan

Interserve – one of the UK’s largest providers of public services – has reached a deal with creditors to prevent its collapse.

The rescue plan involves cutting its debts from over £600m to £275m by issuing new shares.

5. Resources and Waste Strategy – unwrapped (February 13: London)

This one day conference will provide essential advice, guidance and discussion on the consultation that will be published by Defra linked to the Resources and Waste Strategy. It is being organised jointly by INCPEN, CIWM, ESA, Resource Association, WRAP and LetsRecycle.com
