1. Corporate Social Responsibility Manager

NHS Property Services is looking for an experienced Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager to join its small but dynamic CSR team based within the wider Operations Directorate,  reporting to the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility. Whilst the role is predominantly London based you can expect to spend time out of the office planning and delivering CSR projects and engagement activities in the community.

2. Half day workshop on remanufacturing/repair/reuse and single use in the healthcare sector

This half-day workshop which is sponsored by Grundon Waste Management Ltd, will focus on the remanufacturing/repair/reuse of bulky items, as well as the effective management of single use items in healthcare facilities. There will be short presentations from Alan Armstrong from Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and Karl Sheehan from Sharpsmart. Following the presentations, there will be the opportunity for discussion and the sharing of information. These discussions will be facilitated by Anne Woolridge and Maria Mahon. A light lunch will be served at the end.

3. More funding for community fridge

The world’s first Community Fridge Network is set to expand thanks to £160,000 of National Lottery funding from Big Lottery Fund.

 4. Promoting sustainability in healthcare: how to stay positive

5. FPA environment seminar

The 2018 Food Service Packaging Association (FPA) Environment Seminar takes place on 24 January at Horwood House, Near Milton Keynes from 10.00 to 17.00. Tt will feature presentations from Lord Deben, as well as a range of organisations including Coca Cola, the Green Alliance, WRAP and Simply Cups.
