We presented two ‘cracker barrel’ sessions to discuss ‘Online Group Work’ at the UoN L&T conference 16 June 2020.
These 20 minute sessions presented an opportunity for academics to share their thoughts on how group work translates to working purely online and the effects of moving away from a physical space.
FBL tutor Hayley Henderson shared her own experiences of working online with MBA students and expressed her desire to establish some guidelines for staff.
Interestingly the first group’s discussion focused more on the technologies involved in delivering online learning, whereas the second group looked more at the practicalities of teaching sessions and workshops around groupwork.
