If you are considering career progression routes for support staff in schools you may be interested in the Foundation for Learning and Teaching (FDLT) or BA (Top up) in Learning and Teaching (BALT).
Many schools are looking to ‘grow their own’ teachers, the programmes are the ideal way to continue to work in school and gain further qualifications which can, for those who want, provide a route towards QTS.
