DLAB II – Changemakers is laureaat geworden van de jaarlijkse eTwinning-wedstrijd. Die reikt nationale kwaliteitslabels uit aan projecten die de communicatie en samenwerking binnen leergemeenschappen stimuleren. Daarbovenop werd DLAB II – Changemakers dus als winnaar uitgeroepen. DLAB II – Changemakers is een project van Frederik De Laere van de Lerarenopleiding aan Howest. Het is bedoeld om in een internationale context (DLAB staat voor Digital Learning Across Boundaries) changemakers en onderwijs in sociale innovatie te ontwikkelen aan de hand van diverse digitale tools. Het werd in 2019 gelanceerd en loopt normaliter tot 2022. Van eTwinning België heeft het nu niet alleen een nationaal kwaliteitslabel gekregen, maar ook een award.
100 seconden
De eTwinning Awards 2020 worden op 14 oktober uitgereikt. Helaas niet met een fysieke ceremonie in Brussel, zoals doorgaans het geval is, maar met een online live prijsuitreiking. Daarin zal Frederik De Laere, samen met een aantal deelnemers en Middenschool Brugge Centrum als laureaat het winnende project mogelijk in 100 seconden op een ludieke manier mogen voorstellen. Verder zullen zij, net als de andere laureaten, een filmpje van twee minuten maken waarin het project mondeling wordt toegelicht. Die filmpjes zullen worden samengebracht in een online eTwinning fair. Op die manier kan iedereen te allen tijde de projecten van de winnende klassen (her)bekijken.
Leuk om weten: hoewel een live ceremonie dus niet mogelijk is, wil de organisatie toch zoveel mogelijk feestgevoel creëren. Daarom krijgt elk winnend project een budget van 8 euro per persoon, met een maximum 20 deelnemers. Daarmee kunnen hapjes, pizza’s, ijsjes, drankjes … worden aangekocht voor tijdens de uitreiking. Ook ouders, directie, andere leerlingen en collega’s kunnen de ceremonie volgen. Hiervoor hebben ze alleen de juiste link naar het Teams live event nodig.
