Shaowei He (Director of CEEC) presented his research-based evidence to House of Common’s Foreign Affairs Committee on 03/11/2020. In his evidence, he called for transparency, fairness and openness in the government’s future screening regime regarding foreign investment. Based on his own in-depth research, he also emphasised the potential learning and upgrading opportunities that Chinese investors could bring into the UK.
